2020 has definitely been the year of the staycation. Since we can’t travel how we normally would, we’ve been having a lot of fun doing local staycations around NY State. There is so much more to see in New York besides NYC, and we’ve been having a lot of fun getting to explore and see more of ‘our own backyard’ recently! Some of our favorite local staycations have been us cozying up in a cabin, being out in nature, and having an entire Airbnb to ourselves. We partnered with Airbnb and compiled a list of the best Airbnbs to book for a unique New York staycation, so keep reading to see the amazing places we’ve found!

This is an off-the-grid cozy cabin located in the Catskills only 90 minutes from NYC. It’s nestled two rivers, waterfalls, and 100 acre private farm! This cabin was built in 1942 but renovated in 2017 -- one of our favorite features is the living room with the beautiful wood burning stove!

The architecture of this house is stunning and unique with cool geometric shapes and an open floor plan. It’s located on 30 preserved acres and is just minutes from Rhinebeck and the Hudson Valley!
