Jackson Hole is probably one of the most (if not the most) picturesque town we’ve ever been to. It’s nestled between the mountains and right outside Grand Teton National Park. The town of Jackson Hole has a cute old west vibe, and even though it’s a bit touristy, it’s the kind of touristy you can accept. Jackson Hole is probably the most popular place to stay in if you want to visit Yellowstone National Park, but the town itself has it’s own unique charm. It’s filled with cute shops, restaurants, and cafes, and is completely walkable. It’s the kind of place we would tell anyone they have to visit at least once in their lifetime.

How is Jackson Hole Handling Covid-19?

Jackson Hole was probably one of the places on our road trip that we felt the safest in regards to Covid-19. There were signs all over the town telling people to wear their masks, encouraging social distancing, and giving tips on where you can safely picnic outside. Pretty much everyone we saw, tourist & local, was wearing a mask and doing their best to following the recommended guidelines. Jackson Hole was a bit crowded when we visited in August (a local actually told us the town had 15% more people visiting in 2020 than normal), but maybe going in the off-season you would encounter fewer people.

Where to Stay in Jackson Hole

We stayed at The Lodge at Jackson Hole and we thought it was perfect for our trip. The Lodge was in the perfect location, close to the National Parks and the town area. You could definitely walk to town, but the hotel actually had a free shuttle that took you & picked you up from town which was very convenient. Our room was cozy, they offered grab & go breakfast, and the hotel also had a half indoor/outdoor pool that was very relaxing. As far as Covid-19, The Lodge required people to wear masks in public places and encouraged social distancing as well.
